For our second of two debut episodes of Massively Affected, I’m joined by Sylvi Needham, my Constantly Calibrating co-founder, and original co-host of the Constantly Calibrating Podcast. Back in 2012, prior to the release of Mass Effect 3, Sylvi and I texted each other at random because we both had the idea to record a podcast about the then-upcoming end to our favorite video game trilogy. Fast forward a few weeks and we had recorded the first two episodes of what became the Constantly Calibrating Podcast, focused entirely on Mass Effect.
While Sylvi’s time with the show was only a few dozen episodes, we ultimately reconnected many years later once again over our love of our favorite sci-fi worlds. On this episode of Massively Affected we tackled her history with the series, explore discovering identity through the original trilogy, and take a look to the future with both the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, and whatever sequel is on the distant horizon!
Sylvi is not the most active person on Twitter, but if you want to chat with her more you can find her on occasion at @DarthSir.
The entire first season of Massively Affected will be featured right here on But Why Tho through July 13.
