XSEED Games announced on Thursday that the remaster of the Nihon Falcom action RPG, Ys: Memories of Calceta, will release in North America on PlayStation 4 on June 9. The game is currently available for retail preorder of the physical day one “Timeless Adventurer Edition,” which includes a special soundtrack CD that was a part of the “Ys 25th Anniversary Pack” in Japan and 12 4″ x 6″ art cards highlighting various heroines from Ys lore, for $39.99.

Ys: Memories of Calceta will also be available for purchase digitally at launch on the PlayStation Store for $29.99, as well as digital deluxe edition for $39.99. The digital deluxe edition includes a digital version of the special soundtrack CD and a deluxe theme featuring artwork and music from the game. The “Original Theme” that accompanied the Japanese release will also be made available for free to everybody upon launch.

The remaster will support 60FPS with full HD visuals and optimized gamepad controls and will launch with support for both English and Japanese voice options. In Ys: Memories of Calceta, play as legendary adventurer Adol Christin and explore the expansive land of Calceta, one of the largest locales in the Ys series, with the help of a robust mapping system and a multi-character party system.
