Frozen II picks up where the first smash-hit film left off. Elsa and Anna are closer than ever and living happily together in Arendelle with Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. However, when a mysterious voice calls out to Elsa into the unknown and Arendelle is endangered by magical forces. The sisters must go on a journey to find a solution to save Arendelle and uncover the truth of Elsa’s mysterious powers.
Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell’s vocal performances are charming as Elsa and Anna, respectively. Jonathan Groff’s Kristoff gets a fantastic love ballad this time around, and mostly serves as a kind and supportive love interest to Anna. Josh Gad’s Olaf gives it his all, and the rest of the cast is star-studded, including Sterling K. Brown as Lt. Mattias and Evan Rachel Wood as Elsa and Anna’s mother in flashbacks.
