This week the lads start the top of the pod by recapping some of the shows they’ve been watching. Ped also gives his opinions on The Outsider from HBO, and also Birds Of Prey.
Speaking of DC properties, the gents discuss the major filming going on in Liverpool right now for The Batman. Sad news however, Ped wasn’t cast an extra, but he comes up with a theory as to why he didn’t land a role as an extra.
Given recent events, the guys discuss the very real impact that Coronavirus is having on the entertainment industry as A Quiet Place: Part II, Mulan, Antlers, New Mutants, and even F9: The Fast Saga announced that their cinematic debuts are being delayed to avoid spreading the virus.
On to lighter subjects, there was a Disney shareholder call this past week, and the biggest announcement happened to be related to be related to the Disney parks. We finally have a opening date for Avengers campus! Ironically, Ped will be, but a whole month before…typical. Ped lays out on Episode 66 what he hopes will be there when he arrives.
Lastly, the guys breakdown the latest news surrounding Thor: Love and Thunder. This past week Tessa Thompson announced that Christian Bale would be playing the films villain. Aaron, and Ped, talk about who the potential villain could be. Also announced this week, was that the Guardians of the Galaxy WILL feature in this film. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Exciting news.
