A last bit of hype for Star Wars lovers everywhere.
Rare LTD came on next to announce their newest IP Everwild. This gorgeous looking game gives a wilderness exploration vibe to it. The trailer featured mostly serene moments of nature exploration, but also a tense confrontation with some sort of hostile creature. It looks interesting to say the least and it has everyone here at But Why Tho buzzing. I imagine we’ll get a much deeper dive into Everwild come E3.

If you are familiar with Dontnod’s previous works this game will instantly look recognizable to you. The game also features a trans protagonist, voiced by a trans voice actor, and was created with help of GLAAD. Tell Me Why was given a summer 2020 release date.
The Artful Escape
Annpurna Interactive took the XO19 to talk about The Artful Escape. This 2D side scrolling platformer has the player taking control of a guitar wielding protagonist. Not much was shown of gameplay but music certainly seems to be front and center here. No release date was announced for The Artful Escape.
Next up X019 brought us the premiere of Drake Hollow. Not much was shown about this new game from Molasses Flood. With a haunting cartoony vibe the game looked like it would probably focus on multiplayer play. We’ll have to wait for more info to know for sure.

X019 then stepped away from the games for a bit and started talking tech. Particularly Xbox Game Studios XCloud streaming service. Currently in closed beta, xCloud already sports 50+ titles with more coming. The emphasis placed on this number couldn’t help but come off as a jab against Google’s Stadia streaming service that will be releasing to special “Founders” members next week with a scant 12 titles.
