Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Dallas Fuel is gearing up for 2020 as one of two teams in the 20-team league set to kick off the season with a home weekend, launched public ticket sales today after a brief pre-sale period for registered fans. As part of the first global esports league with city-based teams, each franchise in the Overwatch League will host at least two weekends of competition in the new home-and-away season schedule format. The Dallas Fuel will host the maximum of five homestand events in 2020, meaning there are plenty of opportunities for people who want to experience the world of Overwatch esports for the first time.

Weekend passes are on sale for three weekend events; day passes will be sold at a later date.

The home weekend format is based on the enormous success of the Fuel’s 2019 Bud Light Homestand Weekend, the first home game in esports history, which sold out 30 days in advance and hosted an incredible two days of competition.

The Opening Weekend event will take place at Esports Stadium Arlington on February 8 and 9, featuring four matches to launch the season. Weekend passes range from $65 to $215 for standard seats, with a $275 VIP package available. VIP perks include padded arena seats with armrests and drink holder, in-seat beverage wait service, and broadcast appearances during in-game crowd shots.

The Amp It Up Weekend event will take place at Toyota Music factory on April 4 and 5, featuring six matches. Weekend passes range from $65 to $245 for standard seats, with a $295 VIP package available.

The Classic Weekend event will take place at Allen Event Center on April 25 and 26, featuring six matches. Weekend passes range from $65 to $250 for standard seats, with a $300 VIP package available.

Details on the final two home weekend events will be announced at a later date.

Due to having multiple venues for our 2020 season, season tickets will not be offered. As tickets go on sale for future events, past event ticket buyers will get priority access ahead of the general public.
