While LaNeysha recommends a dark fantasy manga talk that has a shocking twist. And that’s just a few things, there’s still much more in store. The Promised Neverland – aka Yakusoku no Nebārand is a Japanese manga featured in Weekly Shōnen Jump. It is written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. Set in a not so distant future the story follows group of children living with their living caretaker. Little do the children know there is a dark and dangerous secret that lurks close by that leads to them plotting their escape from the only home they’ve ever known.

Attack on Titan – aka Shingeki no Kyojin, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. Tells the story of a young boy and his friends determined to take back the world and save humanity from the man-eating giants, the Titans.
